Christopher F. Ostrander

Torrington- Christopher F. Ostrander, 55, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmen (Rivera) Ostrander.

        Mr. Ostrander was born on March 3, 1962, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Jesperson) Ostrander, and had been an area resident most of his life. He had been employed by the Hitchcock Chair Company. Christopher enjoyed sports, especially playing football and watching it on TV. He enjoyed music, and loved spending time with his granddaughter.

        Survivors include two sons, Christian J. Ostrander and Tyler J. Ostrander, both of Torrington; a brother, Steve Ostrander of Torrington; a granddaughter, Mia L. Ostrander, and several nieces and nephews.

        Friends may call Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 2-4pm at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington.
