Terry Lynn & Gregg, So very sorry to hear about your dad. I have so many fond memories...lifeguard at Eastlawn and most memorable as my boss at East School. He was the greatest guy and made my teaching years terrific. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Fondly, Lynn Ann

Thanks so much Lynn Ann. He loved his time with the kids and teachers. He would always speak with pride of his years in the school system. He will be missed by many.

To all of Mr. Kelly' s Family,
We wish to express our deepest sympathy upon his passing. He was a great East School boss and we all loved and admired him. My earliest memory is of him teaching me to swim at the YMCA! He had so much patience!
Wishing you peace and wonderful memories of both Mr and Mrs Kelly

Terry Lynn, Gregg and all of the Kelly clan,

Even after his long life, we were still very saddened to learn that “Mr. Kelly” had passed. We have been thinking about you since then.

For our growing up years, our families were together so often and there are many great memories. Your Dad and Mom were so much fun to be with and those times will never be forgotten. We may not have seen each other as often since we’ve been “all grown up” (whatever that is), but we still miss knowing they are not far away.

I’m sure you are comforted to know that he’s at peace again with your Mom. There has to be golf and pinochle followed by a good party with other family and old friends. And a good Maine lobster and clam bake!

We will see you on the first and pick this conversation up again.

Peace and love.

I just wanted offer my condolences to the Kelly family. I had the pleasure of being a student at East School when Mr. Kelly was principal. He would ALWAYS off a huge smile whenever he saw me in the halls. He was such an important part of my childhood. I hope that you can find peace in knowing all the lives he has touched. God Bless all of you.

Thank you Amy. Many times I would be with my father and someone would come up to him and thank him for the role he played in their life. He was a special person.

The Greatest Generation they were called, and rightly so. Uncle Bob, Uncle Richard and my dad, Greg, the fighting Kelly boys of WWII fame set high standards for the rest of the family and they were not disappointed. They all worked hard, lived well and married well - a great combination. Amazingly wonderful memories of Bob all through my life and what a great God-father he was to me and a font of good advice. God bless you Uncle Bob and my deepest sympathies to Terri and Gregg's families.

Thank you Dennis and Wilma. So many great memories. Our Dads had many miles separating them but they remained so close all of their lives. My father often spoke of yours and missed him so much. We can take comfort in knowing they are back together. Again, our condolences to you and all of the family as well. Best, Gregg.
