Deborah C. (Cornell) Rotondo

Torrington- Deborah C. Rotondo, 62, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of Ronald D. Rotondo.

        Deb was born in Boston, MA, on July 29, 1954, and had been a Torrington resident since 1983. She was a retired teacher and tutor with the Torrington School System, retiring with 24 years of service. Deborah was proud of having served two years in the Peace Corps, was an avid bingo player, and loved talking to angels.

        Survivors, in addition to her husband Ronald, include a son, Domenic J. Rotondo of Chula Vista, CA, a brother-in-law, Robert Rotondo and his wife Andrea of Newport, RI, a sister-in-law, Cynthia Littler and her husband John of Fair Haven, VT, three nephews, and a niece.

        Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 12:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Thursday morning from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
