Torrington- Jimmy Nguyen, 64, died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the husband of Phung Lan.
Mr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam on May 2, 1952, son of the late But and Hue Thi (Dang) Nguyen, and had been a Torrington resident for 20 years. Jimmy worked as a machinist in the aerospace industry.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Phung, include a son, Bong Nguyen of Torrington, two daughters, Trang Nguyen of Dallas, TX, and Lah Nguyen of Torrington, one sister, Phe Nguyen of Vietnam, twelve grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 9:00a.m. from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to Chater Oak Crematory, 333 Christian St., Oxford, for a service upon arrival.
