Loretta M. (Borovy) Vogt

Torrington- Loretta M. Vogt, 79, formerly of Summer St., died Monday, September 25, 2017 at Valerie Manor, Torrington.

        Mrs. Vogt was born in Waterbury on January 23, 1938, daughter of the late Henry and Phyllis (Hinman) Borovy, and had been a Torrington resident most of her life. She was a retired assembler with Aerospace in Bantam, and had also worked at the bakery shop for Stop & Shop in Torrington. Loretta enjoyed bowling, making rugs, and spending time with family.

        Survivors include a daughter, Sally A. Lawrence; a brother, Wayne Borovy; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

        Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Torringford St., Winsted. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
