I feel very fortunate to have had an Aunt as kind, sweet and funny as Auntie Chita was. She always had a smile and kind word to offer. I can hear her now saying "awwwwe there's little Angie" when I would go to Ct to visit. I have many fond memories of her. She was the perfect example of a "lady". I always looked forward to our little brunches. She would set a lovely table and we would sit down for coffee and usually some really delicious sweet treats. We would chat back and forth, laugh and have the best time catching up. I will miss her very much, but I do take comfort knowing the "Golden Girls" are reunited together in heaven. Norman, I extend my deepest condolences. You took such good care of your Mother and I know she loved you immensely. We are all very lucky to have shared a long lifetime knowing and loving such a special lady. She will be missed by all of us.

I will always remember Sundays at the Comeau home. Enjoying family time and listening to the stories that Grandma Dolly & Chita would tell us they could make you laugh even when you didn't feel like laughing. She will be missed by all. Norman my prayers are with you.

Well, I guess the time has come for you to be reunited with Mamma and Dolly whom have been patiently waiting for you to complete the trio of the Golden Girls. What can we say? The people that you have touched will always be grateful for having crossed paths with a lady like yourself. Always a kind word, always trying to help someone, unselfish, down to earth, and to better describe it, Salt of the Earth. I could go on and on but words would never describe the effect you had on people, old and young. Norman and you made a wonderful team, one that we all would envy. But life goes on, and hopefully we will meet again. Maybe one day we'll all be able to play Michigan Rummy again. So save your pennies. Frannie. God bless.

Auntie Chita was a gentle soul. Funny, hospitable, generous and a talented artist. Like Grandma Dolly, Chita found great joy in life's simple pleasures: Birds at the feeder, sitting outside in the shade, playing Scrabble or cards, and most of all, entertaining family and friends in a way that made everyone feel at home.

We send our love to you, Norman. No one knew her like you did. She always sang your praises from work you did to maintain the house to helping her and making her life comfortable. You've set the bar very high for all sons. We grieve with you and will always remember Chita with warm regard.

Love, Sharon and Dave
