Lou was born in Torrington on February 16, 1930, to Anthony and Rose (Silano) Capra. He served in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. Lou was employed by Turner & Seymour Mfg., retiring after 46 years of service. He was a deeply religious man attending church and watching the daily televised mass. He is survived by his son, Louis Capra, Jr., his daughter Jayne, and son-in-law Leo Martigneni, along with his Grand cat "Beanie" and Grand dogs "Tucker" and "Roxy". He also leaves his Sister-in-law, Florence Simons and Brother-in-law, Keith Brewer along with many Nieces, Nephews, four Godchildren, Cousins, and may wonderful friends and neighbors.
