Daniel W. Teddick, Sr.

Torrington- Daniel W. Teddick, Sr., 69, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of Janice M. (Danielsen) Teddick.

          Mr. Teddick was born in Winsted on December 30, 1948, son of the late John and Shirley (Beeman) Teddick, and had been a Torrington resident most of his life. He was a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran, and was a retired owner of Teddick General Contracting, retiring with over 40 years of service. Daniel was a lifetime member of the Torrington Elks Lodge #372, a member of the National Rifle Association, and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Torrington. He enjoyed working on cars and was a proud owner of a 1979 Pontiac Firebird.

          Survivors, in addition to his wife, Janice, include a son, Daniel W. Teddick, Jr., and his wife Christine of Torrington; a daughter, Lisa M. Roth and her husband Jonathan of Meriden; a brother, Michael Teddick and his wife Deborah of New Hartford; and two grandchildren, Jasin Douglas and Alyssa Teddick. Mr. Teddick was predeceased by a son, Jonathan E. Teddick.

          Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington, will be private. Friends may call Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
