Ernest B. Blandino

Torrington- Ernest B. Blandino, 81, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Litchfield Woods Health Care Center, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Aeschliman) Blandino.

          Mr. Blandino was born in Torrington on May 28, 1938, son of the late Louis and Mary (Bauchiero) Blandino, and had been a lifelong Torrington resident. He was a retired employee of the Torrington Company, retiring with over 30 years of service. Mr. Blandino was a former member of the Veneta Club and enjoyed working on cars, especially vintage ones.

          Survivors, in addition to his wife, Mary, include two brothers, Louis Blandino and his partner Barbara Dattel of Torrington and Robert Blandino and his wife Lois of Winchester, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Cynthia Aeschliman of Torrington.

          Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Saturday morning from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.
