I met Garrett this past year as a friend of my son. My heart breaks for your loss. Garrett would laugh heartily at my cornball jokes and didn't mind when I would come out when he arrived to pet his dog and maybe tell another joke or two just to make him laugh. From one mother to another mother and father & family, my deepest condolences.
