Jacquelyn A. Locascio

Torrington- Jacquelyn A. Locascio, 66, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 in her home.

          Jacquelyn was born in Winsted on October 15, 1952, daughter of the late Jack and Marjorie (Jones) Locascio, and had been a lifelong area resident. Jackie graduated from Keene State University in NH with a BSEd, and earned a MSEd and 6th-Year from University of Bridgeport CT. Jacquelyn was a passionate professional educator who taught for 26 years in the Winsted School system. Jackie was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who always cherished the time spent with her family.

          Survivors include a son, Anthony C. Truss and his wife Susan of Hartland; two grandsons, Jonathan Truss and Christopher Truss; and a sister, Peggy LeGeyt of New Hartford. Jacquelyn was predeceased by a sister, Alice Manchester.

          Services and burial will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
