Winsted- James S. MacBurnie, 63, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Mr. MacBurnie was born in Winsted on February 24, 1954, son of the late James E. and Anna Mae (Jeffers) MacBurnie. James spent his earlier years in Winsted before moving to California, where he lived most of his life. He enjoyed flea markets and loved animals.
Survivors include two sons; Sean MacBurnie, and Michael MacBurnie; a daughter, Hannah MacBurnie, all of California; two brothers, Thomas MacBurnie and his wife Margaret of Winsted, and Roy MacBurnie of Torrington; three sisters, Katherine Milstead and her husband Charles of GA, Noreen Tinker and her husband Richard of Springfield, MA, and Lorraine MacBurnie of Winsted; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
