Janice F. (Conlon) Consolini

Torrington- Janice F. Consolini, 75, passed away October 11, 2017 at Valerie Manor, Torrington.

        Mrs. Consolini was born in Torrington on February 18, 1942, daughter of the late Felix Conlon and Grace (Dougal) Conlon Benny, and had been a Torrington resident for most of her life. She was a retired hairdresser, enjoyed cooking, watching cooking television shows, and loved cats.

        Survivors include a son, Daniel R. Consolini of Torrington; a daughter, Carrie M. Becker and her husband Kenneth of Litchfield; a sister, Joan Bazzano of Torrington; three grandchildren, Brittany Barrett, Bethany Becker, and Daniel Forrestet; and two great-grandchildren, Ella Barrett and Jameson Barrett. Mrs. Consolini was predeceased by her infant son, Robert Consolini, a sister, Judith Sokol, and her step-father, Peter Benny.

        Graveside services will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 at 12:00p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
