Torrington- John J. Dunay, 53, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 in his home.
John was born in Torrington on March 3, 1964, son of the late John and RoseMarie (Folio) Dunay, and had been a lifelong city resident. He loved motorcycles, trucks, and cars, and enjoyed going to car shows, fishing, and racing.
Survivors include a son, John J. Dunay, II, of Pawtucket, RI; a daughter, Jessica J. Dunay of Torrington; two brothers, Michael S. Dunay, and Joseph J. Dunay and his wife Kelly, all of Torrington; and a sister, Deborah M. Dunay of Torrington.
Friends may call Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial in New St. Francis Cemetery will be private.
