Samuel Joseph Powell

Torrington- Samuel Joseph Powell, infant son of Ashley Gentile and Samuel Powell, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.

        Survivors, in addition to his parents, include maternal grandparents, Frank Gentile of Torrington and Cynthia Cammilletti-Holmes of Youngstown, NY; a paternal grandmother, Sarah David-Patton of Waterbury; godparents, Missie Morris and Sean Pietras, both of Torrington; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Samuel was predeceased by a paternal grandfather, Alfred Nealy, and a maternal grandfather, Ace Joseph Cammilletti

        Fly High Little Man - You may be gone but never forgotten.  You had your daddy's heart the moment he found out about you and they promise to be strong just like you.

        A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:30a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington. 

        At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
