Torrington- Thomas R. White, 61, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury.
Mr. White was born in Hartford on August 23, 1955, son of the late Owren and Katherine (Koscak) White. He was a former fence installer, working for Cape Cod Fence Company, enjoyed working on muscle cars, liked dogs, and enjoyed being helpful to others.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy L. Rice and her husband Warren of Torrington, and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at the Community Soup Kitchen, 220 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial is private.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Soup Kitchen, 220 Prospect St., Torrington, CT 06790.
