Aimee "Red" (Knebel) Schneider

Harwinton- Aimee F. “Red” Schneider, 79, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven Schneider.

         Aimee was born in Bronx, NY, on February 27, 1945, daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Sandler) Knebel, and had been a Harwinton resident for the past 5 years. She was a retired bookkeeper.         

        Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Kelly and her husband, Stephen, of New Milford and Jill Schneider-O’Neill and her husband, Michael, of Harwinton; and four grandchildren, Dallas, Avery, Shianne, and Delilah. She was predeceased by a sister, Ada Corde.         

        Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 11:00a.m. in Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ, 06752. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
