Alexander M Delacruz

Winsted- Alexander M. Delacruz, 52, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Dolores Moreno.

        Alex was born in the Dominican Republic on May 4, 1972, son Rafael and Ramona (Wisky) Delacruz, and had been a Winsted resident for over 25 years. He was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Berkshire Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, Sandisfield, MA.

        Survivors, in addition to his wife, Dolores, include three children, Alexis Delacruz, Adrian Delacruz, and Eliana Delacruz; five siblings, Anderson, Jasmine, Juana, Bladimil, and Miriam; and many nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 12:30p.m. from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 E. Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00p.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Friday morning from 11:00a.m. to 12:30p.m. at the funeral home.
