Anne M (Martin) Newett

Torrington- Anne M. Newett, 73, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Hartford Hospital.

        Mrs. Newett was born in Winsted on April 29, 1952, daughter of the late Charles A. and Margaret L. (Carr) Martin, and had been a lifelong Torrington-Winsted resident. Anne was an avid reader, enjoyed going to the beach, watching cooking shows, shopping, and had a great love for animals. She was a great cook and loved to make delicious meals for her family. Family meant everything to Anne and her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

        Survivors include a daughter, Teresa M. Krulicki and her husband, Todd, of Torrington; two grandchildren, Jess Krulicki and his long-time partner, Jessie, of Mulberry, FL, and Jared Krulicki and his wife, Netania, of Torrington; and a brother, James Martin of Glastonbury. Anne was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Barber, and a brother, Charles Martin.

        Services will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
