Ben Marinella

Torrington- Ben Marinella, 52, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved partner of Louise Arnold.

Ben was born in Bristol on April 30, 1973, the son of Linda (Daigneault) Saucier of South Carolina and the late Kenneth Saucier. He lived in the Bristol and Terryville area until his early twenties. Ben enjoyed playing pool and darts, fishing, singing karaoke, and taking his dog to the park and on long walks. He loved taking rides in the country, finding peace in the quiet back roads and open scenery. Ben also cherished Louise’s home-cooked meals, often saying they were one of the things he first fell in love with.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, Linda, and partner, Louise, include a daughter, Megan Marinella (Michael) of Torrington; a grandson, Hunter Skoczylas of Torrington; a brother, Scott Saucier of SC; an aunt, Sharon Marinella Dowdy of KY; and nieces and nephews, Madison Murphy (Jake) of New Britain, Olivia Murphy of NY, Alysa Saucier of KY, and Matthew Saucier of SC. Ben was predeceased by a sister, Dawn Marinella Murphy.

Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 4:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Friends may call Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. at the funeral home.
