Charito Martinez

Torrington- Charito Martinez, 52, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.

        Charito was born in Sosua, Dominican Republic, on August 10, 1971, daughter of Calcedonia Martinez. She loved to travel and spend quality time with her family.

        Survivors include a son, Jean Carlos Estevez; two daughters, Stephanie Rodriguez and Elizabeth Estevez; six grandchildren, Jowell, Kevin, Amaya, Darianny, Joan, and Sophia; and six siblings, Joel Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Amaury Martinez, Biannery Martinez, Masiel Martinez, and Angelina Martinez; and the father of her children, Carlos Estevez.

            Friends may call Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St, Torrington. Burial will be held in Cementerio Municipal, Sosua.
