Dale Ann Waterman

With aching hearts, we mourn the passing of Dale Ann Waterman, 56, Torrington CT. Dale left this earthly plane on December 2, 2022. Her memory will live on within those who knew and loved her well.

        Dale was a deeply empathetic and compassionate woman who valued the simpler things in life. She was a strong woman who forged her own way. She had a knack for tending to plants and the needs of animals. She was always fascinated and curious by the beauty and wonder of nature. Also, a creative person who could paint things that brought new life into any space. A happy place for her was when she had her family together for an outdoor adventure, good food and belly laughs.

        Dale leaves behind her 3 children, Melissa E. Mascaro, 37 in St. Petersburg FL, Joshua K. Paradise, 30 and his partner Amber Martorelli of Enfield CT, and Mari-Rae Waterman, 23 and her partner Anthony Ortiz in Torrington CT. She also leaves behind her 25yr long spouse and soul mate, Ray Mohagel. Her parent’s Joyce Waterman of Windsor Locks, CT and her father Wayne Waterman & his wife, Barbara in SC, her younger sister Allyson Costello of Windsor Locks will also mourn this significant loss. Dale is now resting in peace with her younger brother, Thomas Waterman, who predeceased her in 2021. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind all those that knew and loved her, including her Aunt Lynne Patten of Charlestown, NH and Uncle Richard Asselin & his wife Carole Ann in Punta Gorda, FL, and several nieces, nephews & cousins. With her loss we seek a new way of peace & happiness, as that was her wish for us.  

        Memorial Services will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
