Daniel J. Bordua

Torrington- Daniel J. Bordua, 74, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Box) Bordua.

        Daniel was born in South Windsor on May 18, 1950, son of the late Bernard and Anne (Cassarino) Bordua, and had been a Torrington resident for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired Flagger with Connecticut Light and Power. Daniel enjoyed fishing, ran a bait store, and in his younger years was a member of the American Legion.

        Survivors, in addition to his wife, Donna, include a step-son, Leonard “Lenny” St. Denis, Jr.; a brother, Francis Bordua; a sister, Lorraine Breslin; his nephew and “son” Billy Box; and Katherine Bordua, Nicholas Bordua, and Emily Breslin; and Sisters-in-law, Jennie Strong and Sandy Hansen.

        Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 2:00p.m. at 33 Doman Drive, Torrington. Full Military Honors will be accorded at 2:00p.m.
