Diane S. Frisbie

Torrington- Diane S. Frisbie, 72, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at VITAS Hospice at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury.

        Diane was born in Norwalk on March 14, 1950, daughter of the late Vernon H. and Lucy T. (Hudak) Frisbie, and had been an area resident for many years. She was the Head of Payroll at Kimberly-Clark, retiring with many years of service. Diane volunteered with the Friends of Topsmead, Litchfield and frequently supported environmental organizations.

        The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at VITAS Hospice at St. Mary’s Hospital, for their care and compassion shown to Diane during her stay.

        Survivors include four siblings, Linda Staffa, Catherine Hyde and her partner, Thomas Zambraski, Joan Frisbie and her husband, Peter Hollis , and Thomas Frisbie and his wife, Sue; 7 nieces and nephews, and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews. Diane was predeceased by two brothers, Dennis and Michael Frisbie.

        Memorial services will be held on a later date. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
