Donald Wilusz Obituary

Goshen- Donald John Wilusz, 65, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of Claudia J. (Perssonatti) Wilusz.

Donald was born in Torrington on February 27, 1955, son of the late Joseph and Rita (Monroe) Wilusz, and had been a Goshen resident for the last 41 years. He was a retired employee with the Connecticut Department of Transportation, retiring with 30 years of service.

Survivors include a daughter, Danielle Wilusz; two step-sons, Gilbert Andrews and William “Bill” Andrews, all of Goshen; a brother, Edward Wilusz of Deptford, NJ; three sisters, Elizabeth Vasques of Willimantic, Elaine Harrigan of Kilmarnock, VA, and Jeanne Hotchkiss of Middletown; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Wilusz and a sister, Frances Ruzbasan.

Services and burial in New St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington, will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
