Donna L. (Vanderhoof) Trombley

Torrington- Donna L. Trombley, 75, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.She was the beloved wife of Wayne H. Trombley for 54 years.

​Donna was born in Moriah, NY, on January 8, 1949, daughter of the late Donald F. and Lenore A. (Maple) Vanderhoof, and had been a Torrington resident since 1973. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching game shows, and decorating for holidays. Donna loved all animals and had pet guinea pigs, rabbits, parakeets, parrots, two Siberian Huskies,

and an Alaskan Malamute over the years.  She also enjoyed 

watching and feeding her “outdoor pets” which included squirrels, chipmunks, and many birds.

​Survivors, in addition to her husband, Wayne, include a son, Weylin J. Trombley of Torrington; two brothers, David Vanderhoof and his wife, Lynda, of East Grand Forks, MN, and Gregg Vanderhoof of Saratoga Springs, NY; and her special friend, Janice Becker of Torrington.

​Services will be private.
