Frank S. Manfredi

Torrington- Frank S. Manfredi, 70, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of Denise M. (Lejeune) Manfredi.

        ​Frank was born in Torrington on May 27, 1951, and had been a life long resident. He is the son of the late Frank and Katherine (Sileo) Manfredi, and son in law of the late Arlene Lejeune, who he adored.  He was the owner of Manfredi & Sons Lawn and Property Care since 1982. Frank’s business was his pride and joy and he continued working until his handicap prevented him from doing so, he was blessed to meet so many wonderful people over the years because of his work.  Frank had a true passion for cars and trucks and acquired a large die cast collection over the years. His family meant the world to him and he loved spending time with Shaina, Mike, and the grandchildren.

        ​Survivors, in addition to his wife, Denise, include a daughter, Shaina M. Wakefield and her husband, Michael, of Vernon; three grandchildren, Wynn, Nolan, and Camrynn Wakefield; and a cousin, Angela Heffernan and her husband, Gene, of Burlington. Frank was predeceased by his son, Joel Manfredi.

        ​Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington, will be held privately.
