Gilbert W. Andrews

Goshen- Gilbert W. Andrews, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.

        Gilbert was born in Torrington on July 13, 1965, son of Claudia J. (Perssonatti) Wilusz of Goshen and Gilbert H. Andrews of East Hartford, and had been a lifelong Goshen resident. He enjoyed video games, collecting DC and Marvel comic books and action figures, and art. He was an angel on Earth with a heart of gold who loved his family. He will be deeply missed by loved ones and never forgotten. Gilbert will live on in their hearts and in their memories.

        Survivors, in addition to his mother, Claudia, include a brother, William “Bill” Andrews of Goshen; two half sisters, Danielle Wilusz of Goshen and Karolyn Andrews; a half brother, Paul Andrews; two nieces, Alicia Andrews and Kai Wilusz; a grandniece Anna Barnes and grandnephew Walker Lamica; an uncle, Bill Perssonatti; and cousins, Scott Perssonatti and Kim Perssonatti; a stepmother Mary Andrews, and many other relatives.

        Services will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
