Gladys H. Gardner

Torrington- Gladys Hansey Marguerite (Kret) Gardner, 76, died peacefully on February 29, 2024. 

        She was born on July 17, 1947 in Winsted to the late Michael and Yvette Kret.  She was married to Andrew Gardner for 56 years until his death in 2020. They had 4 children: Shawn, Charlie, Hansey and Caitlin.  She was a faithful member of the Torrington Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 50 years.

        She is survived by her brothers, Francis Kret of Winsted and Marc Kret of Kent, her son Shawn of Torrington, her daughter Hansey of Orwell, OH, and many friends who loved her dearly.

        There will be a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 121 Dibble Street, Torrington on March 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
