Gregory "Greg" Michael Teti

Charlotte, NC- Gregory “Greg” Michael Teti, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

        Greg was born in Sharon, CT, on December 9, 1991, son of Peter and Jennifer (Hall) Teti of Torrington, and had been a Torrington resident before moving to North Carolina 10 years ago. He had special memories from participation in Torrington Youth Sports, playing for Little League, Elks basketball, Torrington Warriors football, and Torrington Youth Soccer, eating and swimming at his uncle Paul’s, and hiking with his uncle Eddie. He was an Oliver Wolcott Technical School graduate, majoring in the Machine, Tool & Die trade, and was employed as a machinist with Diversified Specialties in Belmont, NC.  Greg enjoyed fishing (especially opening day with the fisherman’s breakfast), cooking on the grill, being with his dogs, working on cars, and was a self-taught mechanic. He loved trips to Cape Cod and made many great memories there with his family. He enjoyed long and frequent phone calls with his dad, and never missed the chance to wish family members a happy birthday with all his love.

        Survivors, in addition to his parents, Peter and Jennifer, include his maternal grandparents, Cindy Fallon and Milton Hall, both of Torrington; a brother, David Teti of Torrington; two sisters, Rachel Teti and her fiancé, Nick Silano, and Caroline Teti, all of Vernon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 11:30a.m. from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00p.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Friday December 23, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:30a.m. at the funeral home.
