Haley Marie Foran

Haley Marie Foran, age 18, of Torrington, Connecticut, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

        Born in Bristol, CT on April 13, 2007, Haley was a senior at Torrington High School. She was a proud member of the Golf Club, the National Honor Society, and the Science National Honor Society. Haley was excited to attend her prom, walk across the stage at graduation and was taking drivers education. Haley had also recently been accepted to Central Connecticut State University, where she planned to pursue a nursing degree with the goal of becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

        Haley worked at the Nutmeg Fudge Company in Torrington, a place she truly loved and where she was known for her kindness, joy, and strong work ethic. Her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. 

        Haley was more than a student; she was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece  and friend whose kindness and light touched everyone who knew her. Her smile could brighten any room, and her compassion for others was beyond her years. She had big dreams, a huge heart, and a future that was filled with promise.

        She is survived by her loving mother Shanin Fitzgerald, father, James “Jim” Foran, stepdad Carlos Atherton and her siblings: Nathan Foran, Mason Fitzgerald, Arianna Foran, and Eillia Foran; and her grandparents: Gale Marino, Patrick Fitzgerald, Anthony Marino, and Quigley and Elaine Foran. She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

        Haley’s bright smile, kind heart, and deep care for others will be remembered always. Her short time with us was filled with love, purpose, and inspiration.

        Calling hours will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. In honor of Haley we would like everyone to wear a pop of yellow one of her favorite colors.
