Herman Castelli, Jr.

Litchfield- Herman Castelli, Jr., 75, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Bristol Hospital.

          Mr. Castelli was born in Torrington on August 4, 1946, son of the late Herman Castelli, Sr., and Antionette Zampaglione, and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Castelli was the retired owner of Castelli Corporation, Inc. He enjoyed antiquing, golfing, and most of all, spending time with his family.

          Survivors include three children, Caterina J. Castelli of Litchfield, Gabrielle M. Fredette and her husband, Mark, of Gallatin, NY, and Jeremy H. Castelli and his wife, Abigail, of Plymouth; six grandchildren, Gracie Castelli, Alexander Fredette, Luca Castelli, Ava Castelli, Mia Castelli, and Leo Fredette; two step-children, Michael Deleppo and his wife, Jessica, of Litchfield, and Marla Campbell and her husband, Mark, of Bristol; a nephew, and several cousins. Mr. Castelli was predeceased by two brothers, John Mazzochi and Louis Mazzochi.

          Funeral services and entombment in New St. Francis Mausoleum, Torrington, will be held privately. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
