Jason P Sommerfeldt, Sr

Torrington- Jason P. Sommerfeldt, Sr., 38, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 9, 2024.         

            Jason was born in Torrington on March 6, 1986, son of Lorraine (Persechino) Gaskell of Torrington and Charles Sommerfeldt, and had been a lifelong area resident. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and the outdoors. Jason was always there to lend a helping hand with his aunt Paula, who he was very close to. He loved his son more than anything else.

            Survivors, in addition to his mother, Lorraine, include his son, Jason P. Sommerfeldt, Jr.; his aunt, Paula Persechino of Torrington; his step-father, Robert “Bob” Gaskell of Torrington; and his good friend, Ray.           

            Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 12:00p.m. in Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington.
