Jean Marie Bosio

Torrington- Jean Marie Bosio, 78, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Cook Willow Nursing Facility, Plymouth.

          Miss Bosio was born in Torrington on March 12, 1942, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Borra) Bosio, and had been a lifelong Torrington resident. She was a retired secretary and had been employed by Aetna Insurance Company. Jean was a lifelong communicant of St. Peter’s Church of St. John Paul the Great Parish, Torrington. She will be remembered for her great love of animals.

          Survivors include many cousins locally and across the country. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Jean Bosio.

          Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 1:30p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in New St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Torrington, on a date and time to be announced.
