Joseph Belanger Obituary

Winsted- Joseph P. Belanger, 83, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020, at his home with loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine A. Paul.

Mr. Belanger was born in Macwahoc, Maine, on February 3, 1936, son of the late George and Irene (Breton) Belanger. He was a U.S. Air Force Korean Era Veteran and had been the proprietor of Joe Belanger Tree Removal. He enjoyed karaoke, old country songs, and going to the movies. Mr. Belanger had a great personality and sense of humor, befriending anyone he met. Joseph will be remembered for his great love for his wife, family, and the Lord.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
