Joseph J. Fadoir, Sr.

Hartford- Joseph J. Fadoir, Sr., 62, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at his home.

        Joseph was born in Torrington on September 18, 1960, son of the late Edwin and Alice (Becker) Fadoir, and had been a lifelong resident of Connecticut, having resided in Torrington, Goshen, Winsted, and Hartford. He learned how to work growing up with family on Sunny Brook Farm. Later, he went on to be the proprietor of John Joseph’s Salon in Torrington. He also provided assisted living care for senior citizens. No matter what job he had, he gave 100% and the results always exceeded expectations. He loved upbeat music and dancing, traveling to new places, sightseeing, trying different foods, restoring furniture, gardening, driving fast, and spending time with friends and family. Those that met him, will never forget him.

        Survivors include his son, Joseph J. Fadoir, Jr., of Biddeford, ME; his sister, Annmarie Davis of Torrington; three brothers, Thomas Fadoir of TX, Edwin Fadoir Jr. of TN, and Michael Fadoir and wife Elaine of New Hartford, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former spouse, Kim Fadoir of Tarpon Springs, FL, mother of Joseph Jr. He was predeceased by his sister Carole Reynolds of Torrington.

        Services will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
