Josine (Puma) Kennedy

Passed away peacefully on Saturday April 26,2025 at Avon Health Center surrounded by Love. She was the Beloved wife of the late Alexander J. Kennedy to whom she was married to for 57 years.

        Mrs. Kennedy was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 4, 1941, the daughter of late Anthony Puma and Joanna Puma. Mrs. Kennedy worked as a legal secretary for Higgins Law Office, Fall River, MA before moving to West Simsbury CT. In 1986.

        Josine loved to attend concerts, trying new restaurants and seeing shows at The Indian Ranch with the love of her life, her late husband Alex. Josine was a big fan of country music & Raul Malo whom she saw in 2022.

        Aunt Jo as she was affectionately known to her niece Kelly was one “smart cookie” Her niece Kelly took wonderful care of her, after the passing of her husband.

        She is survived by her sister Marie Sikorski (Steve) NY, her beloved cousin Geraldine (Gerry) FL and 3 nieces Kelly Rossi (Richard who she had a special kinship with) Jennifer Gonzales and Jessica Nichols, 2 great nieces Taylor and Morgan Rossi (who would visit & go to her favorite restaurant Max A Mia in Avon) and her great great niece Gia (they were 2 peas in a pod, as Aunt Jo would say)

        Josine’s Funeral Services will be Private.
