Torrington- Juan Alberto Flores Cilopu, 93, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was the beloved spouse of Teofila Reano for 52 years.
Mr. Flores was born in Lima, Peru, on December 27, 1930, son of the late Victor and Hortencia (Cilopu) Flores, and had been a Torrington area resident for over 8 years. He was a retired graphic designer and enjoyed playing pool, crossword puzzles, cards, and a family gathering with a good wine.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Teofila, include 14 children, among them, Ana Maria, Martin, Pedro, Gissel, Gloria, Victor, and Graciela; grandchildren, Cristian, Pedro, Martin, Juan Jose, Noelia, Pedro Carlo, Lucero, and Diego; two siblings, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Flores was predeceased by two siblings.
Services and burial were held in New St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington.
