Judith Bell Obituary

Torrington- Judith L. Bell, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Valerie Manor, Torrington.

        Judi was born in Torrington on July 26, 1946, daughter of the late Robert and Vivian (Sbardellati) Arnold and had been a lifelong city resident. She was employed in the restaurant industry and later worked with Companions and Homemakers.

        Judi’s true passion in life was her cooking and she enjoyed hosting big holiday dinners for her family. She was known for her ravioli and something that her son, daughter and brothers will forever miss. She was also an incredible seamstress, decorator and enjoyed all kinds of music.  

        Survivors include a son, Kurt Malone and his wife, Jennifer of AZ; a daughter, Robyn (Malone) Famiglietti and her husband, Michael, of FL; three brothers, Terrence Arnold and his wife, Denise, of Torrington, Bruce Arnold of Torrington, and Robert Arnold and his wife, Nancy, of Maine, four grandchildren, Ali, Jaqui, Brittaney, and Gillian; and several nieces and nephews. Judi was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Arnold.

        Graveside services in New St. Francis Cemetery, 863 S. Main St., Torrington, will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
