Laura (Muckle) Thebeault

Torrington - Laura Thebeault, 59, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was a beloved Sister, Mother and Grandma.

Laura was born in New Hartford on May 12, 1965, daughter of the late William and Mary (Hart) Muckle, and had been a lifelong area resident of Torrington. She was a sister to Linda, mother to Stephanie, grandma to her two beautiful granddaughters Bella and Lily. She also loved her cat Tuesday. Laura will be remembered as a kind, quiet woman, who loved gardening, birds, taking bus trips and sticking her toes in her sister's pool while having a delightful conversation. She was a wonderful Sister, Mother, and Grandmother. She worked for many years at Caldors and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Laura had a heart of gold, she was an organ donor and was able to truly bless another family.

Survivors include her daughter Stephanie Powell and her partner Dave Codianna, sister Linda Sullivan and her husband, Michael, of Tolland, MA; two grandchildren and She was a wonderful auntie to William Sullivan, Amanda Case and her Husband Kyle, Melissa Egerton and her husband Casey.

Funeral services will be held January 9, 2025 at 12:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call from 11:00am. until the time of services.
