Lee V. Gangell

Torrington- Lee V. Gangell, 70, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.

        Lee was born in Torrington on July 9, 1952, son of Leroy W. and Jeanne G. (Ouellette) Gangell of Harwinton, and had been a lifelong area resident. He worked for the Gangell’s family-owned business, Rocket Motor Sales, in Torrington for over 50 years. Lee loved cars and animals, enjoyed cooking for family and fishing, and was a former member of the Torrington Elks Lodge. 

        Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a daughter, Tara E. Rokosh of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, Nicholas T. Rokosh and Aiden J. Rokosh; a brother, Larry T. Gangell and his wife, Kathleen, of Harwinton; and a nephew, Kevin C. Gangell.

        Funeral services will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
