Torrington- Lucien H. Jolicoeur, 88, passed away peacefully at Valerie Manor Nursing Home on Friday, February 14, 2020.

Lucien was born in Torrington on April 17, 1931, son of Madeline Jolicoeur. He was the husband of Joan Jolicoeur, who he married on February 18, 1955, and had three children. Lucien ran the Norfolk Texaco for four years followed by the Harwinton Texaco, where he retired from in 1991. Lou enjoyed fishing, golfing, detailing cars, and attending dog and horse races with his wife.

Lucien is survived by a daughter, Leslie Jolicoeur; a son, Alan Jolicoeur; and three grandchildren who knew him as “Gumpy”, Danielle, Heather, and Justin Jolicoeur. Lucien was predeceased by his wife, Joan; his son, Gregory; his mother, Madeline, and father.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
