Luke Michael Dietlin, Sr.

Torrington- Luke Michael Dietlin, Sr., 59, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Torrington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the beloved husband of Carla Marie (Koval) Dietlin.

        Luke was born in Winchester on November 13, 1962, son of the late Erwin and Dorothy (Halsted) Dietlin, and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a talented carpenter and enjoyed tinkering.

        Survivors, in addition to his wife, Carla, include a son, Luke M. Dietlin, Jr., of Torrington; and seven siblings, Lisa Dietlin of Torrington, Joy Dietlin of California, Glen Dietlin and his wife, Jennifer, of Winsted, John Dietlin of Winsted, Eric Dietlin of Torrington, Kenneth Halsted and his wife, Lynn, of Hartland, and Richard Halsted and his wife, Virginia, of Hartland.

        Funeral services will be held Monday, July 25, 2022, at 11:00a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, 1440 Litchfield Tpke, New Hartford. Friends may call Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
