Mary C (Maussner) Lemp

Torrington- Mary Charlotte (Maussner) Lemp, 93, passed away October 20, 2024, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.
       

        Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 1, 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Butcher) Maussner, and had been a Torrington resident since 1996. She had been a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, New Hartford. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, holiday gatherings and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She worked as a home heath aide and as a school nurse assistant before retiring. Mary lived her life with grace and dignity and will be remembered with love by all who knew her. 
       

        Survivors include three daughters, Catharine Teri-Savage, of Goshen, Dale A. Lemp of Torrington, and Linda Clark of Plainville; three grandchildren, Thomas Sullivan, Elizabeth Sullivan-Quade, and Nicholas Wasilonsky; and a great-grandchild, Landon Charles Quade. She was predeceased by husband Robert Lemp, son Charles Lemp and brother Albert Maussner.

        A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 2:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington.
