Mary H. (Hart) Muckle

New Hartford- Mary H. Muckle, 85, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Muckle.

        Mrs. Muckle was born in Collinsville on May 22, 1935, daughter of the late Omer and Catherine (Case) Hart, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker, avid crafter, and loved old movies. Mary will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman, who was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.

        Survivors include two daughters, Laura Thebeault of Torrington, and Linda Sullivan and her husband, Michael, of Tolland, MA; four grandchildren, Stephanie Powell, William Sullivan, Amanda Sullivan, and Melissa Sullivan; a great-granddaughter, Bella Powell; a brother, John Hart of Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:30a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Friday morning from 10:30a.m. until the time of services.
