Michelle L. Turner

Torrington- Michelle L. Turner, 55, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at her home.

        Michelle was born in Waterbury on May 6, 1968, daughter of the late Melvin and Shirley (Strever) Turner, and had been a Torrington resident since 2012. She spent her younger years in Harwinton and graduated from Harwinton Consolidated School and Wamogo Regional High School. Michelle was an employee of Fuel Cell Energy, Torrington. She enjoyed going to the beach, especially Myrtle Beach, SC. Michelle had a heart of gold and will be remembered for kind and loving nature.

        Survivors include her sister, Marcie Clark and her husband, Edward, of Northfield; a nephew, Stephen Clark; a niece, Sierra Clark; her friend, Donna Isely of Torrington; her cats, Squeaky and Muffy; and many friends in Myrtle Beach, SC and Wilkes-Barre, PA. Michelle was predeceased by her brothers, Mark Turner and Michael Turner.

        Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 11:00a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, 1440 Litchfield Tpke., New Hartford. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Harwinton. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
