Norman A. Ruot, Jr.

Colebrook- Norman A. Ruot, Jr., loving son, brother, and father, died Monday, November 27, 2023, after a long illness.

        Norman was born in Torrington on January 17, 1966, son of Carol (Silano) Ruot and the late Norman A. Ruot, Sr. He was a graduate of Torrington High School and worked as a foreman for CH Nickerson Co., and Manafort Brothers Inc. Norman was an avid lover and collector of vintage muscle cars and loved to cook. His memory as a great son, brother, and father will be cherished by his family.

        Survivors, in addition to his mother, Carol, include a brother, David Ruot of Torrington; three children, Jeffrey Ruot of Torrington, Kristin Ruot of Colebrook, and Gregory Ruot of Colebrook; a niece, Jessica Ruot; a nephew, Devin Ruot; many cousins; and his beloved dog, Winnie.

        Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
