Patricia M. (Bergeron) Greenwood

Torrington- Patricia M. Greenwood, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her home. She was the beloved wife of 66 years of the late Cecil D. Greenwood.

                Mrs. Greenwood was born in Franklin, VT, on February 20, 1931, daughter of the late Phillip and Bernadette (Larose) Bergeron, and had been a Torrington resident for over 50 years. She was a retired assembler in the bearing department at the Torrington Company, retiring with 35 years of service. Mrs. Greenwood was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Parish and a member of the Sullivan Senior Center. She enjoyed having Monday morning breakfasts with her lady friends and caring for her family as a devoted mother.

                Survivors include a son, David C. Greenwood of Ocala, FL; three daughters, Carol A. Greenwood of Torrington, Marie P. Deak and her husband Anthony of Chatham, VA, and Joanne Quinn and her husband Patrick of Winooski, VT; a brother, Marcel Bergeron and his wife Gail of MO; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

                Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 11:00a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 3 Church St. N., New Hartford.
