Robert L. Drummond

Torrington- Robert L. Drummond, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Litchfield Woods Health Care Center, Torrington.

         Mr. Drummond was born in Cleveland, OH, on February 22, 1945, son of the late Arthur and Madge (Lawson) Drummond, and had been a Torrington area resident for over 20 years. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Era Veteran and was stationed in Germany. While also an accomplished skier, his greatest joy was getting out to play golf.

         Survivors include a sister, Janet L. Lawrence of Pittsburgh, PA, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Litchfield Woods for their extraordinary care and concern.

         Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held privately. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.

         At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Kitty Quarters, 1188 Litchfield St., Torrington.
