He volunteered many hours for this organization. Bob was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, a skilled bagpipe player with the Pipe & Drum of Litchfield and a member of The Fishing Game where he introduced his children to his love for nature. Bob was an active member of Fish and Game and spent several years as President, 8 years as secretary. And countless hours walking the woods hunting with his friend Ernie, dog Yankee and often one of his kids by his side.

He was fortunate to have many travels in his life. Besides years at Cape Cod where he built a home, he traveled to Ireland, Turkey, Portugal, London, the Rocky Mountains, and Eleuthera.

He leaves behind his children: Patrick Kelly and his wife Kim, Michael Kelly and his wife Laura, Timothy Kelly and wife Gretchen, Kathleen Day and husband George.
